Designing for an event held in Chicago, IL, that is focused on building sisterhood and creating systems to promote wellness in the black community is a unique challenge. The goal is to create an environment that celebrates the black community's beauty, strength, and resilience while providing informative and empowering resources.
The design should be warm & inviting but also strong. The colors should be bold and vivid, reflecting the beauty of blackness while maintaining a sense of unity and adding subtle elements, such as the skyline in blues and purples, to give nods to Chicago's history.
